Utkarsh’s journey in the power transmission sector reflects evolution, experimentation, and execution on scale.

An NPTI graduate with specialized expertise in aerial inspection and transmission systems, he began his career at Resonia in 2016 as an intern in the O&M team at BDTCL. Over the past decade, he has grown alongside the organization and today leads mechanization initiatives across projects in India.

For Utkarsh, transmission is not just about building lines - it’s about solving problems in real time, often in the toughest terrains. His belief that mechanization is a catalyst has shaped industry‑first milestones: drone‑based inspection at BDTCL, drone stringing at NRSS 29, helicopter‑led material logistics at MUML, and large‑scale aerial powerline stringing across India.

Today, he spearheads India’s first mechanized tower erection using advanced systems like DAGP, RT45I cranes, and UAV‑assisted logistics - redefining how transmission projects are executed.

According to him, mechanization is not about replacing people - it’s about making construction people‑first. By improving safety, reducing manpower reliance, and accelerating execution, mechanization ensures that projects are delivered faster, safer, and smarter.
